Where and when was Ed Sheeran born? He was born in Halifax, West Yorkshire, England on 17 February 1991. His father was a lecturer and his mother was a jewelry designer. The singer also has a brother who is now a composer.
The boy grew up in a religious family, therefore when he was 4, Sheran sang at a local church choir. When the boy was 11, he began writing songs.
